Digging

Gorast and Ivica are childhood friends who cut off ties 16 years ago. Both ex-friends have their reasons for this communication failure but they've never dared to share them. Gorast lives in the country. After many years of living in the city, Ivica finally returns to visit his old friend, accompanied by the young man Alek. While reminiscing childhood memories, Gorast tells Ivica that the reason for his invitation was his idea of digging a hole in the backyard of his house. They start digging, thus slowly excavating the reasons for their miscommunication in the last 16 years and the consequences of their bygone friendship. Digging is a film about the past, the present, and friendships whose universal commandments surpass any peripheral aspects.
